Most transactions processed through mymktplace do not result in returns given the stringent verification process and product upload instructions for sellers, however in the unlikely case of a return the Buyer Protection offered provides an additional measure of comfort and safety in the unlikely event that:

• The seller does not ship the item you purchased; or
• You receive an item that is materially different from the description and/or the uploaded images.

In order to get a refund under the Buyer Protection, certain conditions need to be fulfilled:

• The claim must be lodged no later than 24 hours after the receipt of the goods (time over public holidays and/or Sundays does not count).
• Additional proof or evidence including a detailed description/reason for return may be requested, including but not limited photographic evidence, breakdown of key issues with product and other documentation that may be required.

The Buyer Protection does not cover the following situations:

• The buyer has a change of mind and/or has found the item elsewhere.
• The item was damaged, lost or stolen in transit or post [tbc what insurance we can get with courier guy].
• The item has a stated delivery time of more than 3 days
• In the case of postal strike and/or logistical related strike, industrial action, customs or postal delays or non-collection from the Customs or the Post Office.
• The item was collected or delivered in person and/or the transaction was concluded off the site.
