- All sellers and buyers hereby undertake and agree to adhere to all requirements as set out herein or as amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Mymktplace and/or as required by prevailing legislation.
- These General Terms and Conditions (which are required to be read in conjunction with the other policies and guidelines outlined on the website) govern the requirements for registration, sale of items and any other use of the Mymktplace platform between the Sellers, Buyers and Mymktplace.
- Sellers and Buyers are required to check all information they provide for validity and accuracy. Mymktplace does not accept liability for errors and/or misrepresentation by buyers and/or sellers in terms of the information provided e.g. product dimensions inputted for a product by a seller will directly contribute to the real time courier costs that will be calculated for the buyer to pay at checkout, if this is misrepresented any additional charge will be the liability of the seller.
- Sellers must ensure that goods sold are appropriately packaged to prevent damage in transit. If goods are found to be inapprorpriately packaged the seller will be liable to provide a refund for the goods as well as the cost of collection.
- A Platform Fee of 12.5% will be charged to the sellers on all transactions processed through Mymktplace irrespective of the category and value of good sold. An additional 2% Platform Fee will apply for those sellers selecting ewallet for payment versus a bank account.
- Seller will be paid their amounts due (which will be the list price less the Platform Fee) only after the goods are delivered to the buyer and acceptance confirmed by the buyer (automatic acceptance is confirmed after 24 hours if no feedback is received from the buyer regarding the product/s received).
- A Success Fee for Garage Sale and Parts procurement will be pre-agreed with the seller or buyer requiring that service with the following being some of the factors contributing to the final Success Fee charged: Value of item/s, scarcity of item, no of items and time/resources required.
